Ekmek, pilav, makarna, patates ve m\u0131s\u0131r gibi kompleks karbonhidratlar t&uuml;ketilmedi\u011fi i&ccedil;in, v&uuml;cut gereksinim duydu\u011fu enerji i&ccedil;in &ouml;ncelikle kandaki glikozu ve glikojen deposunu kullan\u0131r.<br \/>\nKalan enerji a&ccedil;\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kas dokusunu kullanarak sa\u011flar. Bu durum kas ve su kayb\u0131na yol a&ccedil;ar. Ki\u015fi tart\u0131da kendini zay\u0131flam\u0131\u015f g&ouml;r&uuml;r. Oysa kaybedilen ya\u011f miktar\u0131 de\u011fil, kas ve sudur.Yakla\u015f\u0131k 1gr kas kaybetti\u011finizde 2,5 gr. su kayb\u0131 ger&ccedil;ekle\u015fir. Bu durumda kanda protein art\u0131k &uuml;r&uuml;nleri dedi\u011fimiz keton cisimcikleri olu\u015fur.
